Peck's at the head of the street where the trolleys and the buses converged to serve The Blue Devils and The Red Eddies and their fans. We had a bundle of happy memories along with a disappointment of two that helped us get ready for the world of grups. Now here we are and I puddle up a little to think we can't go back for some more of those good times and maybe even make amends for a teenage transgression or two. Most of all, I remember a wonderful bunch of kids trying out their wings and connecting with realities that popped up and smacked us good and proper once in awhile. Regrets? I suspect we all have a couple but the one that never leaves me in peace is the time I wasted on clicks and passing trends that kept me from connecting with each and every one of my classmates to get to know them and snuggle down in their minds making memories of special people I barely knew. I love all of you Red Eddies and I will never forget any of the wonderful experiences we shared. Onward Eddies! Kick that ball around! Holman Francis Cubby Murphy, Jr. Return to Harpswell home page.
